Donna is an interdisciplinary artist and intermodal arts therapist whose practice spans visual art, movement, sound, poetry, play, drama, textiles, installation, photography, and video. Grounded in the belief that art is a form of knowing, her work explores the intuitive, embodied, and atmospheric dimensions of human experience, with a focus on connection and communication between ourselves, others, and the world.

Having made art throughout her life, Donna formally committed to establishing her professional art practice in 2022. Alongside this, she brings over 15 years of experience supporting people as an arts therapist, using creative processes as a way to reflect, make meaning, and find healing. These parallel practices inform one another, shaping a deeply relational and process-led approach to both art-making and therapeutic work.

Donna is also a dancer, poet, and songwriter, and enjoys exploring movement, language and sound as vital forms of expression. She is currently working towards publishing a book of poems. Today, Donna balances life as an artist and arts therapist among other roles, and can often be found visiting galleries locally and interstate.
